Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) is engaging in heavy promotion for PlayStation VR at present, wheeling the head-mounted display (HMD) out at events across the globe and offering a constant stream of new videogame announcements. The latest endeavour is a revisit of a previous initiative however, updating a Project Mopheus trailer with new assets representing the final name of the HMD: PlayStation VR.

Originally revealed at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), San Francisco, back in March of this year, the below trailer has been reedited to feature brand the brand new PlayStation VR logo. The technical specifications of the device remain the same, suggesting that the version of PlayStation VR that we are seeing now might well be the final retail edition.

PlayStation VR is set to launch in the first half of 2016, and has a considerable line-up of software being prepared to support the release. The reedited trailer follows below and VRFocus will of course keep you updated with all future PlayStation VR marketing initiatives from SCE.
