G2A has already invested its time and efforts into creating two of its own virtual reality (VR) videogames, one of which is G2A Land, a rollercoaster simulator. Now the online gaming marketplace has teamed up with MSI to create a VR Batman application, Gotham VR.

This latest VR development where the online videogame store, G2A, and one of the leading computer hardware manufacturers, MSI, has come together to develop in a way to promote the latest movie to be added to the Justice League Film Series, Batman V Superman. In Gotham VR players can speed through the streets of Gotham City on Batman’s motorcycle as is featured in the film as well as the Batman series, as well as experience the streets

The Gotham VR application can be played on an equally themed custom-made PC casemod which also promotes Batman V Superman, which MSI has prepared for its Gaming for Good charity event that it has created with G2A. This event supports Save the Children, and has previously raised $500,000 USD.

MSI has also shown great promise into developing hardware for VR with its latest VR computer backpack that has been showcased during the Computex 2016 event in Taipei, which features an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 graphics card. MSI has also developed laptops and PCs for VR gaming: “MSI goes above and beyond to present unprecedented gaming innovations. We are proud to present COMPUTEX TAIPEI visitors with iconic, futuristic gaming rigs that can potentially change the way they game and work,” said Eric Kuo, MSI Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing.

The Gotham VR experience hasn’t been given a specific date of release, and the type of VR head-mounted display (HMD) it supports hasn’t been stated, but it can be assumed that it will be PC-based.
