The SIGGRAPH Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques Conference and Exhibition 2016 will be opening its doors at the Anaheim Convention Center, from 24th – 28th July 2016. But to get in you’ll need to register first as tickets won’t be available at the door, and registrations have now opened.

Last years event featured the Virtual Reality (VR) Village with over 60 companies exhibiting, and this year is likely to be the same, although no announcements have yet been made confirming who’ll be in attendance.

But for those wishing to attend you can now register in one of six ticket categories. The six are Exhibits Only, Exhibits Plus, Select Conference, Full Conference One Day, Full Conference and Full Conference Platinum. There’s a multitude of different pricing options available in each of the categories, with the best savings occuring before 3rd June. After which prices go up until 1st July, then after that they go up again.

Prices start from $50 USD for the Exhibits Only pass rising up to $1400 USD for the Full Conference Platinum pass currently. For the full price breakdowns head to the SIGGRAPH website.

SIGGRAPH 2016 Conference Chair Mona Kasra, said, “We are designing this year’s event for those who are truly passionate about the interconnection and collaboration between graphics, interactivity, enhanced and virtual realities, games, mobile, robotics, digital art and visualization. For more than 40 years, SIGGRAPH’s goal has been to inspire, educate, and exemplify innovative approaches to the various global communities that co-exist within the arenas of computer graphics and interactive technologies. In 2016, our slogan is to ‘Render the Possibilities’ – so this year, we will celebrate the transformational capabilities that arise when systems, unprecedented ideas and revolutionary techniques intermingle. These possibilities are limitless, and can give birth to inspiring creativity, breathtaking new art forms and never-before-seen uses of technology.”

VRFocus will continue to follow the latest updates for SIGGRAPH 2016, reporting back with any further announcements.
