Ulanzi created a metal cage for the Kandao Qoocam 8K, and it has many innovative features such as a triple cold shoe mount, nonswiveling GoPro mount, and other features. Unfortunately, it appears that it will not be released to the market. The cage was co-designed by 360 photographer Yuqing Guo. Here’s his video about the features of the cage, and the thought that went into its design:
The cage is well designed, and I’m not sure why it’s not being released to the market. However, I hope that it eventually becomes available.
