While release details for Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCE’s) PlayStation VR virtual reality (VR), it’s not clear how many of the experiences coming to the device will launch. It’s likely that PlayStation VR will see some disc-based releases, even if such products are few and far between on the kit’s rivals, the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. It looks like a handful of titles that will be available in stores, however, have been revealed.

Amazon is listing Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, RIGS: Mechanized Combat League and Gran Turismo Sport for pre-order. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood has also been put up for pre-order on the site for major UK videogame retailer, GAME, which is also now offering early orders for PlayStation VR itself. Both sites feature what’s likely a placeholder price of £49.99 GBP. RIGS: Mechanized Combat League is listed for the same price on Amazon as is Gran Turismo Sport, though the latter is only PlayStation VR compatible.

This certainly seems to suggest that at least some PlayStation VR titles will be available in-stores, as will the unit itself. The kit launches in October 2016 for $399 USD/£350 GBP. Keep back with VRFocus for more on the kit.
