The Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) is now only a week away from launch, and on Monday 28th March, there will be 30 videogames available for those lucky enough to have got their pre-orders in early. One of those available will be racing simulator Project CARS from Slightly Mad Studios, and the developer has recently released a new trailer to showcase the title.

Released during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2016 in San Francisco last week, the new video shows off some of the cars and tracks players will be able to race around at breakneck speeds. From open topped classics to the latest super cars, the videogame is viewed completely from the drivers perspective to give that immersive racing experience.

Oculus revealed at full list of launch titles at GDC 2016, with pricing and comfort ratings for the videogames. Project CARS will be at the higher end of the pricing spectrum, retailing for $49.99 USD, while its comfort rating has been described as intense due to the nature of the videogame. This will mean that players who might be more susceptible to motion sickness could find Project CARS uncomfortable at points.

VRFocus will continue its coverage of Project CARS and the imminent release of Oculus Rift, reporting back any further updates.
