Yesterday the CEO of Unity predicted that we will be able to produce virtual reality (VR) content within VR itself, and the ball has clearly already been set in motion now that PresenZ has now released on Steam for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD).

PresenZ, developed by Nozon, allows users to create pre-rendered volumetric movies which means that the user can create movies with already created effects and aesthetics so they don’t need to worry about the detail-heavy production of their movie. The creator of the movie can also move their head and even walk freely in the scenes they have made up themselves. The developers has described the movies as “much more comfortable and immersive than standard 360 movies”. Scenes can feature war scenes, intricately animated liquid, dragons, or even hand-molded plasticine models.

PresenZ is now available on Steam for free with free DLC including Demo Pack 1, Demo Pack 12GB, and Cars.
