Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE), revealed the price and release date of the PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD) earlier this evening at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2016. Then on Twitter the UK subsidiary tweeted that pre-order details would be announced later this evening. That information has yet to arrive but customers can still pre-order a PlayStation VR headset online through some retailers.

A pre-order listing for the headset has appeared on both Game.co.uk and Gamestop.co.uk sites, retailing for £349.99. Both companies list what consumers get in the box: PlayStation VR headset, Processor unit, Stereo earbuds, HDMI cable, USB cable, AC adaptor and power cord, PS VR headset connection adaptor. Not listed on the sites currently, is the demo disc which would include a selection of games that’ll be available for the launch of the PlayStation VR. The disc was announced on the PlayStation.Blog, but didn’t reveal which titles would be included.

Also revealed in tonight’s announcements were mini-game collection Playroom VR, which will come free with the headset, and PlayStation VR Worlds a tech demo compilation of five experiences including The London HeistInto the Deep(working title), VR Luge, Danger Ball and Scavenger’s Odyssey will be available, although a launch date wasn’t given.
