Pre-Orders for the PlayStation VR went live yesterday for the US following the news at GDC of its launch date and pricing, with different bundles according to where you are based. In the Amazon has now sold out of its first wave of Playstation VR pre-orders after the first day of it going live.

The popular launch bundle contained the PlayStation VR HMD, two motion controllers, PlayStation Camera, PSVR demo disk, and PlayStation VR Worlds. On the purchase page it states “Please Note: Due to high demand and limited availability of this product, we have sold through our initial allocation of the PlayStation VR Launch Bundle. We expect a second wave of allocation at some point in the future so please sign up for email availability notifications to ensure you stay up-to-date.”

 

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) announced that this week pre-orders for the launch bundle would be going live this week, with the core bundle to go live next week, but it is not clear whether or not Amazon will be selling the core bundle.
