Last month VRFocus reported on the announcement of Giant Cop, a brand new virtual reality (VR) videogame from Other Ocean. Little is known about this intriguing project just yet, as the developer revealed the title over on Reddit and noted that the official website for it is yet to update to make mention of the VR support. Fans will soon find out much more about the title, however, as Giant Cop is set to be on display at the EGX Rezzed event at the Tobacco Dock in London, UK from 7th – 9th April 2016.

Giant Cop is now listed on the show floor section of the EGX Rezzed website. It’s not clear what head-mounted display (HMD) the title will be display on, though it certainly seems to be a Room Scale-enabled project, suggesting it could be shown on the HTC Vive. It was not, however, included in the list of titles that HTC revealed it would be bringing to the show as part of its VR showcases earlier this week. Those titles include the likes of Arizona Sunshine, Tilt Brush, Job Simulator, and Fantastic Contraption.

Giant Cop, as the name suggests, casts players as a massive police officer that tends to a sprawling urban environment by locating criminals, picking them up and tossing them in jail. It’s not yet clear when the title will launch.
