The Oculus Rift is now available to buy through online retailers but, if you want to actually play anything on it, you’ll need to download content digitally. All of that downloading is done through Oculus Home, creator Oculus VR’s hub for finding, purchasing, downloading and even previewing virtual reality (VR) content. The concept could first be seen on the Gear VR mobile-based HMD when it launched for consumers last year. With the first units now starting to arrive at the doors of enthusiasts, though, Oculus Home itself has now gone live and can be accessed via download.

Through Oculus Home you can enjoy a wide range of content for the Oculus Rift. That includes each of the 30+ launch day titles available, such as Chronos and Lucky’s Tale. It also entails content that goes beyond videogames such as Oculus Story Studio’s Henry and Lost. It’s even possible to get a 360 degree view of content from within experiences, allowing the user to get a feel for it before they commit to a purchase.

Expect Oculus Home to get new features and make refinements in the coming months as the Oculus Rift grows in popularity. For now, though, it does a more than serviceable job of getting you your VR content.
