Companies have been jumping on the virtual reality (VR) bandwagon as a promotional tool for awhile now and the latest comes from Etihad Airways. The airline has released a new 360-degree trailer via Facebook to promote its luxurious Airbus A380. The trailer is for a VR experience called Reimagine and stars Australian actress Nicole Kidman.

This teaser for the film which launches on 27th May 2016, sees the Hollywood actress addressing the camera in what seems to be a spy thriller style plot. Kidman says: “Run me through this one more time, should things run a foul locate the twins. Once in Edinburgh I will connect with the Falcon in the lobby of the Opera House. The soprano will sing her arias. The silver case will be dropped. You will text code name paper plane.”

The 360-degree VR video below can be controlled with a mouse or the WASD keys, it can also be viewed on a smartphone through the Facebook app. If you own a Samsung Gear VR head-mounted display (HMD) you can view the video for a more immersive experience.

VRFocus will continue its coverage of all the latest Facebook 360-degree videos as more arrive on the platform.
