Being ported over from the Samsung Gear VR head-mounted display (HMD) onto Oculus Rift in time for the HMDs launch is Vektron Revenge from developer Ludovic Texier. With Oculus Rift only a couple of days away from arriving new screenshots from the title have now been released.

Styled in a similar vein to Geometry Wars, Vektron Revenge has been built from the ground up for virtual reality (VR). Players will need to destroy waves of enemies by moving an orb around the 360-degree environment with just with head movements. Dodge the incoming enemies that fly at you and use the automatic guns in your arsenal to destroy everything in sight. Your can be upgraded by the Revenge power-up to clear out the toughest enemies from the level.

The new screenshots below showcase some of the enemies that you’ll encounter and obstacles that need to be avoided. VRFocus will continue its coverage of Vekron Revenge, reporting any new updates.
