The Gear VR is the hot property of the moment, with compatibility for the recently revealed Galaxy S7 and more being widely discussed. Oculus VR are preparing for an influx of new users, detailing some of the updates that will soon be made available for the Gear VR’s videogame and applications digital store.

Oculus Home is the application through which all Gear VR content is acquired. Brimming with both free and paid content – with the announcement that over 200 applications are now available on the digital store – Oculus Home is an important piece of the Gear VR’s ecosystem. With that in mind, Oculus VR has committed to making the gateway more user friendly.

Updates to the user review system will be arriving soon, along with additional currency options for purchases. Furthermore, Oculus VR will soon incorporate auto updates to the software.

No timeline has been revealed for these updates, but given the proximity of the Galaxy S7 launch it would be surprising if these and other updates weren’t rolled out in the very near future. VRFocus will of course keep you updated with all the latest details on the Oculus Home application.
