Insta360 recently released its biggest update for the Insta360 One X, bringing better visuals, better audio and a new story-editor feature to its app. In the app now you’ll be able to see the “Color plus” feature, which when turned on adjusts your footage after you’ve taken it, by adding more vivid colours and a more balanced dynamic range. You can toggle this option on or off from the app.
As for the sound, now you can toggle on or off the new feature called “True Audio”. It uses AI to filter sounds in your footage, cleaning up noise from wind/vehicles/machines etc. and it boosts your voice so it’s more clear. Lastly, we have the story editor, with which you can now easily edit and combine your clips by also adding footage shot with other cameras, such as your phone for example. Just like any other editing app, you have a big choice of filters, effects and other small tweaks to edit your clips.
