There’s really only a week to go before the consumer version of the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) begins shipping to those who got their pre-orders in really early on 6th January. There’s going to be 30 videogames available on 28th March, all fighting for gamers cash. One of those is Coatsink Software’s Esper 2. The puzzle title has already been available for sometime on Samsung’s Gear VR headset, and is now making the jump to the PC-based device. Now the studio has released new screenshots to entice those early adopters.

There’re five new images available all showing familiar areas if you’ve seen screenshots from the Gear VR version. They show some of the different styles of design for each section, from underwater to stone ruins, stylish office surroundings to abstract floating islands. What is clear, and expected, is the extra polish and clarity the graphics showcase, given the extra processing power available.

Esper 2 is at the far more affordable end of the Oculus pricing spectrum for the launch titles, coming in at $9.99 USD, meaning a lot more gamers will likely purchase it as a quick fun title.

VRFocus will continue to follow Coatsink Software, reporting back on any new announcements.
