Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has brought back its Road to Greatness Tour for 2016, with a truck that scales the length and breadth of the US, taking videogames to the masses. The tour features the PlayStation 4, but also featured is the PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD). An initial set of nine dates were listed for the tours announcement, now more have been added.

A further eight new dates have been added with the next taking place at the annual  Indy 500 race event. The latest date are:

Indy 500 – May 27th – 29th, Indianapolis, IN

Riverfest Festival – June 3rd – 5th, Little Rock, AR

Riverbend Festival – June 10th – 12th, Chattanooga, TN

Windy City Lake Shake – June 17th – 19th, Chicago, IL

Jamboree In the Hills – July 14th – 17th, Belmont, OH

HARD Summer – July 29th – 31st, Los Angeles, CA

Bumbershoot – September 2nd – 4th, Seattle, WA

Ft. Worth Alliance Air Show – October 15th – 16th, Ft. Worth, TX

Prior to the PlayStation VR’s launch in October 2016, for US residents the Road to Greatness Tour will be one of the easiest ways to demo the HMD. Spaces are limited with only a few dozen people able to get a chance to experience SIE’s VR device each day.

There’s still several dates to be announced later on in the year, so stay posted to VRFocus for the latest updates.
