Back in September 2015 Nival VR launched a PC version of InCell, a mix of action and racing with virtual reality (VR) support that also highlighted the potential for educational applications on the technology. On PC the title supports the Oculus Rift’s second development kit (DK2), though it remains to be seen if the consumer version of the kit and the HTC Vive will be supported later down the line. A mobile version of InCell has also been in the works, and has this week been released by Nival VR.

The developer has confirmed that the smartphone version of the title has now launched on both the iOS and Android operating systems (OSs) and works with the Google Cardboard DIY mobile-based HMD. The experience costs £0.79 GBP and can also be sampled without a VR device. The title sees players race around human cells on tubular tracks similar to what can be seen in Tammeka Games’ Radial-G.

A new version of the title for Samsung and Oculus VR’s own mobile HMD, Gear VR, will also be arriving in the near future, and it has also arrived on Apple TV today.
