Today may feel dedicated to the launch of the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD), but its only a week until the arrival of its rival, HTC Vive. And confirmed today for the HTC Vive’s launch is Light Repair Team #4 from indie developer Eerie Bear Games on its Steam page.

Light Repair Team #4 is a puzzle title based around light reflection. Players assume the role of a repair person who lives in a city powered by beams of light. This light-pipe power grid is naturally fragile and is in need of constant maintenance. Using a combination of mirrors, prisms and lenses you must bounce, combine, move and split light so that you can return power to the city’s buildings.

The HTC Vive’s Room Scale positional tracking system requires a minimal area of 1.5 meters by 2 meters to work properly. Light Repair Team #4‘s Steam page indicates players will need a slightly larger area – 2 meters by 2 meters – to work in. This may effect some gamers who might be working with the minimal area for their devices.

The information page doesn’t list any details currently on the amount of levels or puzzles that maybe available, or the price of Light Repair Team #4. VRFocus will report back any further updates to Light Repair Team #4, as information is announced.
