Where as yesterday’s Life in 360 was all about a made for web television programme in BBC”s Class, today’s selection takes us back to the simple things in life. We’re not halfway up the Alps or soaring through space, we are in fact taking a journey to the Isle of Man – and not for the famed TT races, but for something far more relaxed.

In this video the viewer takes position hanging on to the side of one of the island’s trams as it journeys along the coast and past the houses from Derby Castle station in Douglas along to Laxey Station on the Manx Electric Railway. The trip, which lasts for just shy of half an hour gives you an great look at the island as you move from coastal road to urban sprawl to wooded backroad to country lane – and all in blazing sunshine too.

VRFocus will be back soon with another example of 360 degree video being used. Until that time be sure to check out all the stories and articles from yesterday’s HTC Vive launch.
