Hello and welcome to ‘Life in 360′, which will be appearing in this morning slot alongside New To VR. In it we’ll be hosting the occasional 360 degree video and today is no exception.

If you’ve seen any animated television show ever, chances are it is The Simpsons. America’s first family (that itself is the name of a documentary about them) have been endearing audiences since first being part of The Tracey Ullman Show in 1987 and following it’s debut in December 1989 The Simpsons has moved to become the longest running scripted prime time show in American television history. After twenty-six years however, the chances are you’ve also had a conversation about the longevity of The Simpsons and at least one of your friends bemoans the series as being past it and ‘why won’t is just end’ whenever it is mentioned.

This 360 video might not be for them.

Adapted to 360 by John Hatfield Photography from an original 2014 video by Omni Verse this 360 video has you suspended in a sphere of over 500 episodes of The Simpsons… running simultaneously. To some a strange and unique look at the history of one of television’s most successful creations. To others something of a yellow prison of doom. Whichever side of the Flanders’ fence you sit on, it’s something worth check-diddly-ecking out.

VRFocus will be back soon with more examples of 360 degree videos.
