On of the biggest and most active meetup groups in the world is Silicon Valley Virtual Reality (SVVR). Founded in 2013, SVVR has over 3200 members on its roster. The group regularly holds events every month featuring speakers from cutting edge virtual reality (VR) companies, with its latest taking place this Friday no different.

Confirmed for SVVR #27 is Andrey Doronichev – Group Product Manager, VR Product at Google. Doronichev manages the team responsible for Google’s first-party VR apps, including YouTube 360, Earth and Expeditions. There’s no information yet on what topic Doronichev might be discussing.

The SVVR #27 will also feature other speakers as well as demonstrations, but as yet they’ve not been announced.

The evening will be held at Google’s offices on Friday, 12th, February 2016 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm PST, Google Bldg QD3 468 Ellis St, Mountain View, California. To register and secure a spot head to the SVVR meetup page, tickets cost $5.00 USD per person. Doors will open at 6:30pm with presentations beginning at 7:00pm. After which there will be open demo time until close.
