Psyop’s Kismet is now available for both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Kismet is a collection of three activities presented in virtual reality (VR), including Tarot Card reading, a daily Horoscope and ancient board game Ur.

Kismet is designed to be experienced daily, with unique outcomes every calendar day that are directly tied to the Tarot Cards, your birth date and the actual alignment of celestial bodies at the time of your reading. Seated across a table from an automaton with the power to look into the future, the player is invited into a unique virtual space in the hope of learning more about themselves and their potential future.

“I’ve been obsessed with mechanical fortune telling machines ever since I was a child,” says David Chontos, Writer and Director. “Virtual reality has given me a platform to not only create one of those machines entirely from my own imagination, but to step inside of it, and to invite the rest of the world inside with me.”

Kismet is now available for $6.99 USD via Steam for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, with a launch sale discounting the price to $4.99 for one week. Kismet is also coming to the Oculus Home, and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on this and other VR experiences from Psyop.
