Sony Interactive Entertainment Korea (SIEK) held a press conference yesterday which saw a bunch of PlayStation VR titles announced. They included Hellgate VR, Mortal Blitz, White Day: Swan Song. A fourth videogame was also revealed in the form of Gunship Battle 2 VR from developer Joycity.

Gunship Battle 2 VR is a virtual reality (VR) version of the studios Gunship Battle 3D. The title is a flight simulator/action experience mainly geared around helicopters, but it does also feature planes as well. From initial images Gunship Battle 2 VR looks to be a purely cockpit-based VR experience, which would help reduce the effects of simulator sickness, as titles like CCP Games’ EVE: Valkyrie effectively do.

Little else was revealed about Gunship Battle 2 VR. While some of videogames like Hellgate VR haven’t yet been confirmed for release outside of Korea, Gunship Battle 2 VR is likely to see a wider release due to its popularity on platforms such as Android.

VRFocus will bring you further details on Gunship Battle 2 VR as we get them.
