Virtual reality (VR) production company Jaunt is well known within the industry, its collaborated with the University of Southern California (USC) School of Cinematic Arts, RYOT, ABC News and others to release innovative content via its Jaunt VR app. Today the company has announced several new hires for a business team to support the growth of the international cinematic VR market.

The primary focus of the team will be on securing partnerships for the production and distribution of premium cinematic VR experiences. They’ll also look at identifying creative ways to integrate VR into marketing campaigns.

Those hired by Jaunt include Richard Goldberg, who is Global Head of Partnerships and Business Development. Julie Uhrman, Founder and CEO of videogame console OUYA, has been appointed Head of Platform Business Development. While Mark Charkin former EVP Advertising & Business Development at King Digital Entertainment, is a senior consultant.

Also on the team are Dominic Collins, former CMO of Legal & General and Director of Digital of UK wireless company EE, implementing the company’s global commercial, marketing and brand strategy in Europe. And Michiel Frackers, who previously co-founded Planet Internet, joins as a field representative in Europe.
