Few changes since the release of the new firmware 1.18.14. Now you can see the WiFi icon in the left part of the screen and in the right part there is a new BT icon. That will change when the remote is connected. Also a message on screen will let you know that. Another important thing is that now the buttons have been reversed: the small one shot pictures and the big one start/stop video recording. After firmware update I did nothing else in order to have the BT remote recognized and it worked fine from the first attempt.
