Today I’m offering some tips for recording the best audio using microphones built into the Insta360 One X Camera. There are many vidoes that cover this topic but nearly all of them will tell you to get an external recording device to capture your audio. While I agree that method will work better than what you’ll get with the in camera microphones, I still contend you can do pretty well if you follow two simple tips as demonstrated in this video.
Spoiler alert: Keep the camera microphones pointed at you by having the LCD screen on the camera facing you, and secondly keep the camera close to you. Don’t try to do voice recording with the camera at the end of a completely extended selfie stick.
