Does the Insta360 One X and the DJI Osmo Pocket make the Ultimate Vlogging setup? In this video (which is NOT a 360 degree video) I use both the Insta360 One X alongside the Osmo Pocket. Each camera was used for different shots and the Insta360 One X really came into it’s own in certain shots.
The editing workflow wasn’t too much of a headache in Adobe Premiere, but there were a lot of keyframes to be added to the Insta 360 One X footage. However, using Proxies in Premiere helped hugely. It was during the edit that the Insta360 One X really came into it’s own as it provided nearly limitless shot possibilities where I was able to frame and reframe the 360 footage as I needed.
Let me know what you guys think of the footage and how it works in the overall vlog. The Osmo Pocket was used for the majority of the shots in this and I’ve labelled the Insta360 One X footage clearly so you get an idea of how great the footage is. Using the 2 cameras really makes this an ultimate vlogging setup!
