The Insta360 EVO is a dual 180 and 360 camera. It’s body can be moved to shoot in both modes. When in 180 mode the camera cna also shoot 3D video which looks awesome when viewed on a VR headset.
This camera is more of a companion for a VR headset rather than an action camera. The camera can shoot 5.7K video in both modes and comes with flowstate stabilization.
The EVO won’t be for everyone but if shooting 3D video is of interest to you it’s a great way to get started. Insta360 has also developed a phone accessory that allows you to view your 3D content with the naked eye. It’s called Holoframe and is also available with the EVO.
