Insomniac Games’ Oculus Rift exclusive videogame Edge of Nowhere is due to be released this Spring and is a hotly anticipated title for the head-mounted display (HMD). VRFocus got a chance to talk with Creative Director of Insomniac Games, Brian Allgeier recently about the virtual reality (VR) title.
Edge of Nowhere is a third-person horror where players take on the role of Victor Howard, who goes on a rescue mission to Antarctica. He’s looking for Captain Simon Edwards and his large crew of biologists, researchers and seamen who’ve disappeared finding that their disappearance is due to an alien race. What follows is a journey into a surreal world that will test your wits and sanity. Players will scale towering mountains and use makeshift weapons to survive and avoid descending into madness.
