Indimo Labs’ Vanishing Realms: Rite of Steel has quickly gone from an unknown quantity to one of the most highly anticipated virtual reality (VR) videogames for the HTC Vive. VRFocus sat down with ex-Valve developer, Kelly Bailey, to discuss how the project came about, and where it’s going next.

A role-playing game (RPG) in which the player is the sole protagonist in a world that is clearly out to get him/her, Vanishing Realms: Rite of Steel is a first-person experience that puts the player in the videogame like never before. Fighting against formidable foes as they journey through the dungeons and woods provided by the first chapter of Vanishing Realms: Rite of Steelavailable now via Steam Early Access – players will experience real-time combat, exploration and light puzzle solving.

Bailey is a one-man team developing Vanishing Realms: Rite of Steel under the guise of Indimo Labs. His understated-yet-passionate delivery of the ideals of the videogame prove that Vanishing Realms: Rite of Steel has been a labour of love, with little comprehension of just how much the VR community has been clamouring for an experience like this. You can find out more the videogame in VRFocus‘ hands-on preview of Vanishing Realms: Rite of Steel and watch the full interview with Bailey below.
