There’s only a week to go until the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 kicks off in Los Angeles, California. The biggest event in the videogame calendar features a top line-up of the biggest developers and companies in the industry. It also includes indie studios as well, and the IndieCade booth will be showcasing some of the latest videogames with a bunch of virtual reality (VR) titles thrown in.

IndieCade celebrates independent videogames, holding two events this year. The IndieCade Festival which takes place during October in Los Angeles, and IndieCade Europe during November in Paris, France.

But to highlight the talents of indie studios, IndieCade will be hosting 34 titles at its E3 booth this year with four of them being VR videogames. The four that have been included are Floor Plan by Turbo Button, Northway Games’ Fantastic Contraption, Kona from Parabole and Sisters by Otherworld Interactive.

Regular VRFocus readers should recognise all four of them, with some featuring more extensively than others. Floor Plan has recently been released for Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR head-mounted displays (HMDs), putting players inside a lift with puzzles to solve on each floor.

Fantastic Contraption is a well known title for the HTC Vive headset. Another puzzle experience, this time players have to build weird and wonderful machines to complete goals. Kona is currently available on Steam Early Access and while on VR support is listed the studio has previously stated commitment to supporting the Oculus Rift HMD with the project.

While Otherworld Interactive’s Sisters isn’t a videogame, rather a VR experience. Available on Gear VR, iOS and Android, Sisters takes place in a haunted house where events start to take place the more viewers look at their surroundings.

VRFocus will be at E3 to bring you all the latest VR news and announcements from the event.
