The Virtual Reality Los Angeles (VRLA) Winter Expo is fast approaching. The event is set to take place on 23rd January 2016 with support from AMD and exhibitions from the likes of Survios and Epic Games’ Bullet Train. Today, two new major exhibitors are being added to the list for this month’s show at the LA Convention Center’s Petree Hall. The first is Crysis developer and CryEngine creator Crytek while the second is HTC and its HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD). Several other new exhibitors have also been announced.

As you might expect, HTC will be taking its brand new development kit, the Vive Pre, to this month’s event, though not everyone with a ticket will get to try the new kit. Instead, VRLA will be opening registrations for certain demos through Guidebook, with new details to be announced later on this week. It’s not yet clear exactly which experiences will be on display.

Crytek, meanwhile, will be showing its ‘latest VR experiences’. Though unconfirmed, this will likely refer to upcoming Oculus Rift exclusive, The Climb, which has already been shown to press while the company’s PlayStation VR project, Robinson: The Journey, remains unseen. Other new exhibitors and sponsors include Dysonics, Lyft, Nod, Elementerra, Miraged, Studio Transcendent, Tactera, Splash, CIMtrek and Figment.

Tickets to the event are on sale now, with General Access starting at $40 USD and offering access to a keynote session before the expo begins at 13:00 PST. For the latest on VRLA, keep reading VRFocus.
