Yesterday VRFocus reported that HTC and Valve’s highly anticipated virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD), the HTC Vive, would be heading to the EGX Rezzed event at the Tobacco Dock, London from 7th – 9th April. Attendees will be able to try out the upcoming Room Scale VR device for themselves with titles such as Job Simulator and Arizona Sunshine thanks to a partnership with NVIDIA. But, before that show, the device will also be at another event in London. PC Gamer has today confirmed that the kit will also be at the PC Gamer Weekender on 5th and 6th March 2016.

NVIDIA will again be bringing the kit to the show, which takes place at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. “Virtual reality is an incredible advance for gamers, providing full immersion in whole new worlds,” Jaap Zuiderveld, VP EMEAI, NVIDIA, said of the news. “The best VR experience demands enormous computing power – and the best way to get that is with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX GPUs. We’re thrilled to be working with game developers and VR headset companies like HTC to bring spectacular new experiences to the market.” It’s not clear what experiences will be on offer at the show.

Of course, by the time the PC Gamer Weekender arrives, the HTC Vive will be ready to pre-order, having launched its campaign at 10:00 EST on 29th February. First shipments will be made on 1st April, meaning it will actually be out by the time that EGX Rezzed takes place. The kit costs $799 USD and includes a pair of position tracked controllers, two Lighthouse tracking stations for Room Scale VR, a copy of Job Simulator and a copy of Fantastic Contraption.
