The HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD) is going to start to be shipped out this Tuesday, but amongst all of the excitement and the anticipation there may be an anticlimax for some buyers with the recent problems concerning pre-order cancellations. HTC has issued an update on the situation, advising them on how to handle sorting out the problem.

According to the latest blog post by HTC a ‘limited number’ of customers have been experiencing auto cancellations due to processing issues with banks. The Vive HMD developers are working on fixing the issue and have already reinstated orders, but for those who are still experiencing problems it is advised that they should contact their bank to notify them of the purchase.
HTC has apologised for the problems is and want to work with customers to solve them, saying: “We want to assure our customers that we’ll work with them to process their payment so they can receive their Vive when they were expecting it.” Buyers can contact customer support either by calling HTC on +1 888-216-4736 or contact supports online.
