In just over a weeks time Opposable Games will be holding its annual Virtual Reality World Congress (VRWC) event in Bristol, UK. VRFocus has reported on numerous developers and companies taking part including: Fierce Kaiju, Ustwo Games, Rebellion, Triangular Pixels, AMD and Kite & Lightning. Now its been announced that HTC and Samsung will also be taking part.

HTC will naturally be taking its HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD) along – the device will have launched by then – and Samsung will be demoing its mobile HMD Gear VR. Samsung’s Senior Product Manager of VR & Wearables, Jason Lovell, will also be speaking as part of the VRWC main track. He’ll be providing insight into the past, present and future of Gear VR.

Adding to the speakers on the main track for VRWC is Kim Majkut, a freelance twice-BAFTA-nominated, multi-award-winning Creative and Director who’ll be speaking on the potential for VR education. She’ll be joined by industry veteran Rafael Brown from Digital Myths. Andrew Mason of The Guardian and Jarrad Vladich of The Mill,will be speaking together on the topic of their VR experience “6×9”.

Tickets for the full event are now completely sold out, but there are some expo only tickets still available for £32.70 GBP. VRFocus will continue its coverage of VRWC, reporting back on any further announcements.
