What does cm/360 mean? Well as I explain in this sensitivity tutorial cm/360 is a universal way of measuring your sensitivity that can be easily converted from game to game. It’s especially useful for comparing sensitivity values from games that don’t use the same engine or sensitivity scale. To find your cm/360 value all you have to do is measure the distance in centimeters that it takes you to one 360 degree turn in game. You can also use online calculators that take your mouse settings and give you a close estimate. (Check the links at the bottom of the desc for one)

When finding your sensitivity it’s important to take into account how much desk space you have as this will determine the limits to your sensitivity. It’s also important to have a suitable sized mouse pad so that you’re not limited to only high sensitivity and also so you’re not handicapping your self with a lower range of motion in game. It is best to use a relativity large mouse pad regardless of what sensitivity you end up choosing.

The next thing to consider when it comes to choosing your mouse sensitivity is the type of game you’re playing. A more precision based game like counter-strike for example is going to favor a lower sensitivity whereas a more movement and tracking heavy game like Quake is going to favor a higher sensitivity. That said there is a range of sensitivities that most good aimers fall into. That range being between 40 cm and 20 cm. If you’re trying to find out what is the best cm/360 then chances are it will be in this range. that’s not to say there aren’t good players that use sensitivities outside of this range but they usually have very specific reasons as to why they do, which I discuss in the video but it’s mostly because different games have different demands that some players in certain games choose to make exceptions to the ideal sensitivity range especially CSGO players.

When trying to figure out how to find your best sensitivity setting it’s important to remember that every sensitivity has its strengths and weaknesses and no sensitivity is perfect. Whether you choose to use a low , medium or high mouse sensitivity you’re gonna need to spend time working on your weaknesses there is no magic sensitivity that is going to change that fact. The list of pros and cons for different sensitivity ranges goes on and on but what you should realize is that no sensitivity is perfect despite what others may tell you the truth is that finding the right sensitivity is simply a matter of picking one that suits your needs best and then accepting and working on improving the areas of weakness that come with them. No matter what sensitivity you choose the bottom line is to get good with a sensitivity you need to accept it in its entirety and then actively take action to mitigate your flaws. Finding your sensitivity is a journey but with these tips in mind and the contents of this video hopefully you will be able to find your sensitivity on PC alot easier than before.
