The announcement of Rock Band VR late last year took many by surprise. An Oculus VR funded title coming exclusively to the Oculus Rift, Harmonix’s franchise seems an easy fit for virtual reality (VR) in many ways. VRFocus recently met with the team behind the videogame to learn more about how the Rock Band experience will be adapted for VR.

Speaking with Josh Harrison, Social & Community Lead at Harmonix, VRFocus discusses the gameplay of Rock Band VR and the intentions behind the decision to bring the franchise to VR for the first time. Despite initial impressions of Rock Band VR being underwhelming, Harmonix has promised further details will be revealed at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Los Angeles, in June.

You can watch the full interview with Harrison below, and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Rock Band VR.
