Samsung Electronics Canada has announced the opening of the first Canadian Samsung Galaxy Studio from 23rd October to November 8, 2015 in Mississauga, Ontario. The pop-up product experiences are designed to showcase Samsung’s latest technologies, including the recently launched Gear S2, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note5 and Gear VR head-mounted display (HMD).

Building on successful executions in London, Seoul, Singapore and New York, the Global Galaxy Studio features a hands-on product showcase for visitors. People attending will be able to use the immersive Gear VR HMD, Sound Camp mixing stations using the Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note5, Photo GIF and badge making using the Note5, and the Samsung Smart Switch station to help easily transfer existing data to their Samsung devices.

“The Samsung Global Galaxy Studio has been a hit with consumers in other major cities, and we are extremely excited to be bringing the experience and brand to life in Toronto,” said Mark Childs, Chief Brand Officer at Samsung Electronics Canada in a statement.  “The interactive Studio will get Canadians closer to immersive mobile experiences through Samsung’s innovative technologies.

To celebrate the opening of the Samsung Global Galaxy Studio, multi JUNO award-winning  rock band Arkells will be performing an, acoustic show today at 5:00pm EDT at the stores location in the centre court of CF Sherway Gardens.

VRFocus will continue to follow all the latest announcements on the Gear VR HMD as details are released.
