Many of the titles that launched alongside the HTC Vive virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) earlier this week were either full products or part of the Early Access system, though few offered players the chance to try before they buy with a free demo. Among these titles was Jeeboman from Futuretown, a first-person shooter (FPS) that impressed VRFocus when it was first shown earlier this year. Since its launch, however, Futuretown has gone back and added in a demo for the title for those that haven’t picked it up yet.

The demo can be downloaded via the title’s Steam listing and then the full videogame can be picked up for £6.99 GBP for those that like it. In the title players will defend a city against an alien invasion using the HTC Vive’s position tracked controllers to wield unique, futuristic weapons. Enemies appear to be mechanical constructs, with players eventually heading into their mothership to take the fight to them.

Elsewhere Futuretown has another two projects available for the HTC Vive right now. The first is A-10 VR, which is designed as introduction to the technology for those that are yet to use it. There’s also Cloudlands: VR Minigolf, which also has a free demo available.
