Since announcing its intentions of adding a full virtual reality (VR) experience to its website, 3DMark, software company Futuremark has announced that it is adding a new VR experience, VRMark, and a new user interface for 2016.

Although this is still an interactive preview of the full product of VRMark, viewers can explore two test scenes with the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive head-mounted displays (HMD), and it can also be seen in 2D on monitors too. The first scene of the preview is designed for the minimum specification of the Oculus Rift, and the second is intended for more powerful hardware, but both scenes do not produce a benchmark score. On top of this new addition of VRMark, 3DMark has received a revamp, including home screen recommendations and independently updated benchmarks.

The full version of VRMark is ‘coming soon’, but the preview can be experience now on its website. For the latest updates on this story and on all VR news, stay with VRFocus.
