Ralph VR’s Daydream Blue has been a popular multiplayer title for Samsung Gear VR since its launch back in October last year. Today however, the developer has announced that it will no longer be exclusive to the Oculus VR and Samsung collaborative head-mounted display (HMD), but will also be made available, rather aptly, for the forthcoming Google Daydream.

Daydream Blue is designed to be an introduction to mobile virtual reality (VR). A family-friendly videogame featuring online multiplayer, a pet robot, and a wide variety of mini-games, Daydream Blue lets players enter a unique and colourful world. Cast in the role of someone who’s chosen to spend their relaxation time camping, Daydream Blue throws the player into a simulation to find a magical valley full of mystery and surprise.

“Our mission is to connect people together and help foster smiles in virtual reality,” states Richie Hoagland, CEO and Game Designer. “We are thrilled to be achieving a major milestone on our journey by bringing Daydream Blue to Google’s Daydream.”

Having initially begun life as part of Oculus VR’s Gear VR Game Jam, Daydream Blue is now available for Samsung Gear VR and will launch for Google Daydream once the device has been made available. No specific release date nor price has yet been announced for the Google Daydream edition of Daydream Blue, but VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details from Ralph VR.
