Last month Studio Wildcard announced the arrival of its official mod program for ARK: Survival Evolved which added more to the biome, and today during the PC Gaming Show 2016 the studio showed footage of the dino survival title’s mod, Primitive+.

Jesse Rapczak, Co-Founder and Co-Creator of Studio Wildcard, and Forest Rapczak, Community Relations at the studio, took to the stage and launched straight into the newest footage to be shown of ARK: Survival Evolved, which can be seen below. It was explained by Forest that players will be able to build tree-top bases, use resources that can only be found in the redwood biome, use grappling hooks, and experience generally a new diversity on the island.

After the general look at the gameplay, Jesse explained about the Titanosaurus. This dinosaur is so large that players can actually build giant bases on them, and the large beast requires a special take down method with larger artillery to the head.

There’s also the ability to play through any of the animals’ lifespan within the game, from wolves to ants, and Forest highlighted that there is also a mating button so you can experience how they expand their packs.

It was also said that the Primitive+ mod, despite being previously available to players, is now to be officially launched on 28th July of this year, and it allows players to use experience the videogame without the high tech. This comes not much sooner than the official release of the videogame, which will be coming Fall 2016.

There will be more to come from VRFocus during this week from E3 2016, so make sure to stay tuned for all the announcements and rev. For more on this dino title as well as the latest news and updates in VR, make sure to check back with VRFocus.
