Late last week VRFocus reported on the announcement of Wolf & Wood’s A Chair in A Room: Greenwater, a new virtual reality (VR) horror title for the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD). The piece is an expansion of the popular Chair in A Room demos seen on Oculus Rift and Google Cardboard, now made into a full narrative-driven experience. Now, VRFocus has the first screenshots of the project to share, which can be seen below.

Three new images of the title can be seen below, each showcasing a different area from the upcoming title. A Chair in A Room: Greenwater will cast players as a patient at a mental hospital that has no memory of why he is there. Through exploring memories players will uncover the reasoning behind this incarceration. Here you can see some of those environments, including the cabin in the swamp that VRFocus saw when it recently went hands-on with the project.

Wolf & Wood will be launching A Chair in A Room: Greenwater in April 2016, which is when the HTC Vive itself is expected to arrive. Following its launch, the developer also plans to explore releases on the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR.

Stay tuned to VRFocus for the latest on A Chair in A Room: Greenwater.
