Secret Sauce the organiser behind the popular VRTGO Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) conference and expo in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, will be hosting the first VRTGO Developer Day in a couple of weeks time. The one day event will feature a range of talks and now more speakers have been confirmed.

Newly announced to be taking the stage is Paul Colls, Creative Director at Fierce Kaiju, the studio behind Samsung Gear VR title Viral, will be talking about “The Science of Design”. Rachel Derbyshire from Chronicles VR will be leading a session discussing an “Intro to VR Programming”, while Oliver Kibblewhite from Rewind Studios will be talking about “Designing for VR”.

Previously confirmed speakers for the VRTGO Developer Day are Patrick Connor, PlayStation VR “Rendering performance improvement for VR”; Nizar Romdan, Director of Ecosystem, ARM & Roberto Lopez Mendez, Senior Software Engineer, ARM will be talking about Developing VR graphics on mobile platforms and Simon Launder, Coatsink, “VR lessons learnt by the Coatsink team”.

In between the talks companies will also be exhibiting, including ARM, Coatsink, Nosebleed Interactive, Scan,  Digital VR and Gateshead College.

The VRTGO Developer Day will be taking place on Thursday 3rd, March 2016, at Northern Design Centre, Abbott’s Hill Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, Newcastle, UK, NE8 3DF, and tickets are still available.
