As previously announced, Fabric Software has partnered with Oculus Story Studio to offer a joint presentation at DigiPro, delivering unique insight into real-time character rigging for virtual reality (VR) experiences. The details of this presentation have now been revealed, taking place on 23rd July 2016 in Anaheim, California.

Fabric Engine 2.3 will be showcased at the Fabric Engine user group, which will feature sessions covering VFX & Games, Architectural & Design Visualization and Virtual Reality (VR). In addition, the Fabric team will give a joint presentation with Oculus Story Studio at DigiPro, showing how characters rigged with Fabric can add realism to VR experiences within Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4.

Set to be held on Saturday, 23rd July 2016, Fabric and Oculus Story Studio will deliver a presentation entitled ‘Portable Real-Time Character Rigs for Virtual Reality Experiences’ at DigiPro. More information and registration details for the event are available via the official DigiPro website.

As previously reported by VRFocus, Fabric Software will also be hosting a number of talks at SIGGRAPH 2016 itself, as well as hands-on demonstrations of the Fabric for Unreal integration and pipeline.

SIGGRAPH 2016 is set to take place 24th – 28th July 2016, at the Anaheim Convention Centre in California. VRFocus will be attending SIGGRAPH 2016 and will keep you updated with all the latest from the show floor.
