Today sees the arrival of another videogame from Polish developer SETAPP for the Samsung Gear VR head-mounted display (HMD). The studio has already released Neverout a first-person puzzle experience and now Escape Velocity has been launched.

The official description for the title reads: “In 2038 space missions are a routine thing. You are sent for standard maintenance mission to ISS – now partially  decommissioned, autonomous station. How hard can it be? Unfortunately, not everything goes as planned. You’ll have to use the knowledge from your astronaut training that you hoped won’t ever be needed and engage in spacewalk that you didn’t anticipate.”

Escape Velocity retails for $2.99 USD and doesn’t require a gamepad to play. The description on the store also not the experience is ‘comfortable for few’, which may put off some users if they suffer from motion sickness.

VRFocus will continue to cover all the latest Gear VR releases as more arrive on the platform.
