VRFocus has been live blogging several of the developer sessions over the last couple of days at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2016 in San Francisco, California. In a talk today by Epic Games the studio has revealed that it’s showing a new build of it virtual reality (VR) tech demo Bullet Train for the event.

The session, titled Off The Rails: The Making of Bullet Train is being hosted by Nick Donaldson, Senior Designer, Epic Games and Nick Whiting, Technical Director. Alongside the announcement of a new build for the title Donaldson has also said he’ll continue working on Bullet Train after GDC 2016, could the studio be planning a bigger release?

Epic Games debuted Bullet Train at Oculus VR’s Oculus Connect event in California back in September. The experience uses the Oculus Touch motion-controllers to arm the player with a variety of weaponry in a science-fiction themed first-person shooter (FPS).

It not clear what the new build will include, polished graphics, new weapons, enemies or environments but VRFocus will find out and report back with the details.
