On top of the news that Insomniac is planning to release another two virtual reality (VR) titles on top of its already announced title, Edge of Nowhere, it has now been announced that we can expect the title two months from now.

During GDC Insomniac was teasing the release date for the third-person horror, but it has now been announced that consumers can expect the title to be available from 6th June this year. Edge of Nowhere takes players into the unknown and through a surreal world that will test your wits and sanity. The player takes on the role of Victor Howard who is on a rescue mission in Antarctica for Captain Simon Edwards and his crew who has gone missing and it is because of an alien race.

The studio has been producing titles for VR in high quantities with The Unspoken, a spell-casting urban magic title that utilises motion controllers, and Feral Rites, a narrative-driven combo-filled combat title, announced today, which can be expected in Holiday and Fall of 2016.
