It appears that some stores inadvertently sold the DJI Mavic Mini 2 (which will be called simply Mini 2) before its official release. Here is an unboxing video:
DJI MAVIC MINI 2 SPECIFICATIONS
- Weight: less than 249 grams
- Flight time: 31 minutes
- Range: 10km with OcuSync 2.0 HD Video
- Wind resistance: Level 5 (8.5 to 10.5 m/s)
- 3-axis gimbal
- 4K video
- Other features: Panorama, Quickshots, One-Tap Videos
DJI MAVIC MINI vs MAVIC MINI 2
The key improvements compared to the Mavic Mini include:
- higher resolution video: 4K instead of 2.7k
- longer range: 10km instead of 4km
- more powerful motor – with wind resistance up to 10.5 m/s (compared to level 4 wind resistance up to 8 m/s)
- slightly longer flight duration 31 minutes instead of 30 minutes
Unfortunately, the pilot wasn’t able to fly the Mini 2 because the app could not be activated. Mini 2 is scheduled for release on November 5. Thank you very much to 360 Camera Tips & Tricks for bringing this video to my attention!
